Home Again

Oh my goodness gracious it feels good to sleep for at least 7 hours in a REAL bed not in a dorm room, eat REAL food not cafeteria chow, and have my OWN shower that I don't have to share with three other girls. I did so much in Oklahoma it would make for a very long post. Just know that the University was amazing, the weather was crazy, physical training was reDONKulous, there was very little sleep, the lectures were long, Chaplan was hilarious, Tinker AFB was really cool and it had horny toads, and I got very beat up (ginormous boys don't know that basketball and FLAG football aren't contact-sports). I learned some cool leadership games and some fun jodies. Oh and we flew planes and I didn't even feel like throwing barf...I am very proud! I miss yall I hope we can do something very soon. Today maybe? It is Saturday.

In a dream, my love

I dare you to...
1) count to your age and think about how amazing it feels that it's summer
2) fully indulge on a candy bar [your favorite one]
3) go to the beach and make a sand mermaid of yourself
4) drink a lot of water, not because you should but because you <3 water
5) pick up your report card and get excited that your GPA went up enough to make you feel like maybe what you went through this year was worth it
6) not worry about the things you could be doing to be productive
7) look at cars just for fun [build your own on one of the car sites and don't think about the price]
8) read a book
9) listen to a little-known band
10) paint your nails an outrageous color

These are my wishes for you this summer, as I am only now fully realizing the beauty of the next two months!

"Don't try to wake me up even if the sun really does come out tomorrow"

Hey cool kids...

Happy 15 11/12ths Birthday, KD!

Yeah, that's pretty much it. I wouldn't have been annoyed if you had counted down more, not at all. In fact, I very much enjoy countdowns. Do you want some company today? I will come over and see your car and we can watch a movie if you're interested... ~bj

TEENAGERS!!

Ok, I just found this kind of funny and ironic (?)...maybe not. I love irony but I can never really seem to be able to tell the right time to use the word. Anyways, (why do I always go off on something else when I'm just trying to say one thing?) I read a description for the movie Center Stage and it says "Students at a dance academy strive to be their best while trying to survive the angst of their teen years." Cause we're all just so angsty like that... :)

HECK YES for 16 year old drivers!!!!!

I got a 'Stang today!!! It looks pretty much just like that picture. It is super sweet, green, 1996, but with only 30,000 miles (the average 'Stang that age has 100,000), A/C, radio (eight CD changer), spoiler, and it's as close to as clean as new!!! It's basically better than a 2003 with 60,000 miles. Not to mention it is a GT, which means it goes fast, and is way cool. The sales man knew the guy who was selling it. He had it for his son, but he son did some bad stuff, so he got rid of his car! We only payed $6,500 for it (although, all the blue book values were in between $7,000 and $8,000.) I am so excited, I might expode!!!

So anyway, ANYway...

So I'm sitting here watching Brian Regan while deeply contemplating the meaning of life...no, not really. I already know that. But this is pretty dang funny and even though I should probably be in my bed trying to sleep right now because I have to wake up at like 7:00, I'm not.

much love to ya'll
