Eighteen, Eighteen, Eighteen and you like it, love it, like it, Eighteen, Eighteen!!!!

So Lea, you are the first of us all to come into adulthood. That surely warrants a new post on the blog. I hope that your new life as an adult is no less than super-mega-tremendously AWESOME!!!! And that you take on adulthood with just the right amount of responsibility and carelessness. The two can be a fatal combination, but in your case I think you will be able to stumble upon just the right balance. So when you read this tell us about any super cool things you got as presents or any really cool wishes you have that we may be able to help you fufil. And hopefully your day will be as cool as you are, and not a sucky as you thought it would be.

all of my love,
K.D.

I love rollercoasters

Heck yes, that title totally reminded me of the fact that we are going to Howl-o-scream thursday. So given everyone's (except bjs) current situation, are we going all girls? AHH I am so excited. I have been so bored all morning and this new revalation of something cool to do in the near future is making me way excited.

So during the ACT I figured out something cool. That morning I got up and rolled out of bed and threw on my senior sweats over my pj T-shirt . Well it turns out that I was wearing my chillin with my gnomies shirt, which is the same shirt I wore when I took the ACT the first time! Isn't that cool?

Isn't it strange that that is also the shirt I was wearing the first time I saw my car? Cause we saw my car while we were in Crystal River for the first ACT...

So this month I have spent a crazy amount of non-gas related money...like $67. And while $30 was my dress, $7 was mom's haloween costume, and $10 was hair dye...that is still a lot of money. And I still have like $40 that I can spend. I am tempted to buy some music with it, but I am worried she is going to make me give her some of the money back since gas has become so cheap. I guess I can just wait for next month.

So right now I am feeling kinda hypocrytical. I have always said that those 8gb mp3 players are stupid because they don't hold enough to be like one massive storage device, but they are too big to be mega-portable. But now I see their function. I don't want to lug around my brick-like player (mostly for fear of breaking it since it was so freaking expensive and would be hard to replace). But now I want something that can hold several different playlists so I can switch around depending on what I'm doing. Unfortunately my little baby player doesn't do playlists, so now I am thinking I want one of those 8gb ones that I always said were dumb. And Creative has this really cool one too. It's pretty cheap too...like $50 or $60 less than the same size ipod. So now I feel like a hypocrite and one of those really huge consumeristic people because I want to have like 3 mp3 players...
