"it's a small world after all"

I forgot to do my Galitsky quiz last night. I feel a little bad. But not that much. ~bj

french fries

are cooking in the toaster oven cuz i'm hungry. also tired. so i will eat french fries and write an essay. then i should stay up and do other stuff but most likely i will go to sleep. tomorrow should not be too bad for me, the only class that i actually have to do something in is anatomy. i love being a senior, you can miss 25 days of school and even if you miss more there's little doubt that attendance wouldn't approve an appeal. seniority rocks. these are the best years of our lives and i'm enjoying them to a pretty full extent. highs and lows are still there, but you have to admit -- overall, this is the good life. the excitement, the anticipation, the celebration, the confusedness, the camraderie, all of it. even when we have no idea what we're doing and our heads are spinning straight off our shoulders, it's still a great year. so yeah, that wasn't really planned, it's just what came out because i wanted something, anything, to say. i'm just a little bummed and wanting to talk to someone and the blog is quiet and impersonal enough.

"you might be swingin' on a star"

Guess who got accepted to the school of her choice? Some girl in Central FL who is really excited about it did. She also got offered $24,000 a year to go there, but needs to find another $16,000/year... She is applying for the Dean's Honors Scholarship and if she wins that New Orleans would be a lock in for her. That would be amazing. Now she just does the best she can and then waits patiently... Life, here I am.
